Hi there! I'm Lisa Hamer, welcome to Account on Success! With over 25 years of experience in the construction and financial worlds, I've had the opportunity to take on a variety of roles - from estimator to project manager, and from controller to chief administrative officer. These diverse roles have equipped me with a 360-degree view of the construction industry and have given me the skills to drive projects and help businesses succeed.
My journey started in estimating and project management, where I honed my skills in planning, and overseeing construction projects. Over time, I gravitated towards financial management - including AP and AR management, project accounting, payroll, job costing, and financial reporting. I've had the honor of leading some amazing teams, streamlining processes, and ensuring that projects meet deadlines and exceed expectations. Additionally, I possess extensive expertise in AIA billing and have trained countless subcontractors, bookkeepers, and project managers to ensure monthly and retention billings are done on time, accurately, and submitted correctly the first time, saving everyone time and stress. You can count on success!
In many of my roles, I've been the trusted right hand to company owners and executives, providing reliable support and advice. I take confidentiality seriously and always handle sensitive information with care. My approach is rooted in a strong work ethic, excellent time management, creative problem-solving, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
Outside of work, I've been deeply involved in animal rescue for over 15 years. Helping animals is a cause close to my heart, and this commitment to making a difference influences everything I do.
